Town 'N' Country is one of Tampa's most quietly welcoming neighborhoods — a big, diverse, family-friendly community northwest of downtown, bordering Old Tampa Bay. It's a place of good schools, parks, and a genuine mix of people: thriving Cuban and Asian communities, longtime families, and newcomers drawn by its easy pace and easy access to the Veterans Expressway and the airport. It's the kind of neighborhood where a personal, come-to-you service just makes sense. That's exactly what Hair by Heni offers.
I'm Henriett — Heni to my clients — and I run a private mobile hairdressing studio. Rather than have you drive out to a salon and wait your turn, I bring the service to your home. Precision cuts, organic color, blow-dries, and gentle scalp care, all done where you're most comfortable, right here in Town 'N' Country.
Why in-home hairdressing fits Town 'N' Country
Town 'N' Country is a busy, working, family neighborhood, and time is the thing most people have least of. Between school schedules, work, and everything a household demands, carving out half a day for a salon visit isn't always realistic. Mobile hairdressing solves that. No drive, no parking, no waiting room — I come to you, set up, and you get your hair done without rearranging your whole day around it.
It's also simply a more personal experience. You have my complete attention for the entire appointment, in your own space, at a pace that suits you. Town 'N' Country sits comfortably within easy reach of my South Tampa base — for most of the neighborhood there's no travel fee at all, and if your address falls into a modest travel tier, I'll tell you before we book so there's never a surprise.
European training, brought to your door
My career began in Tampa in the late 1990s, but the bulk of my training happened abroad. I spent nearly two decades in Europe — practicing in France and the Netherlands, then settling in London, where I co-owned Hairport, a pinup-inspired salon in the heart of the city. That experience is the backbone of everything I do: careful, precise cutting and color grounded in real technique.
When I returned home to Tampa, I renewed my Florida cosmetology license and built Hair by Heni as a private mobile practice, rooted in an organic, low-tox philosophy — gentle on hair, gentle on the body, gentle on the home. A few days a week I also work at Blow Bar in Tampa. My mobile clients get that same European-trained care delivered straight to their living room.
Sensitive-scalp and post-chemotherapy care
A lot of clients come to me specifically because their scalps don't tolerate the products most salons use. I specialize in sensitive scalps, working with low-tox, ammonia-free products chosen to avoid the itching and irritation that can come with conventional color.
I'm also bringing a specialization in post-chemotherapy hair care to my mobile practice. Returning to hair care after treatment is a real transition — the texture changes, the scalp is more fragile, and everything asks for a gentler hand. I work slowly and carefully, at whatever pace feels right for you, in the privacy of your own home instead of a crowded salon. Post-chemotherapy care is priced on consultation, because it should always begin with a proper conversation about what you need and want.
How booking works
I confirm every booking personally. You choose your service and preferred time through the booking page, then I review the details and confirm directly. I like doing it this way because it gives me a chance to understand your hair before the appointment. Payment happens on the day by Tap-to-Pay, Venmo, Zelle, or cash.
I bring everything with me — tools, products, all of it. You just need a little space and access to water. If you're in Town 'N' Country and you'd rather have a European-trained stylist come to you than spend an afternoon at a salon, send a booking request through the site. I'll confirm a time and any travel details and bring the studio to your door.
