European training, delivered to your home
I started my career in Tampa in the late 1990s, then spent nearly two decades working across Europe. I trained and practiced in France and the Netherlands before settling in London, where I co-owned Hairport, a pinup-inspired salon in the center of the city. That long stretch abroad is where my technique comes from — precise cutting, considered color, and a real focus on the health of the hair and scalp.
After returning home to Tampa, I renewed my Florida cosmetology license and built Hair by Heni as a private mobile studio grounded in an organic, low-tox philosophy: gentle on hair, gentle on the body, gentle on the home. A few days a week I also work at Blow Bar in Tampa. My mobile clients get all of that European training brought directly to them.
Sensitive-scalp and post-chemotherapy care
Many of my clients come to me because their scalps react to the products most salons use as standard. I specialize in sensitive scalps, working with low-tox, ammonia-free products chosen specifically to avoid irritation.
I'm also bringing a specialization in post-chemotherapy hair care to my mobile practice. How booking works
I book by request rather than instant scheduling. You send a request through the site with what you'd like and a few times that suit you, and I reply personally to confirm. I prefer this approach — it lets me get a sense of your hair and your schedule first. There's no payment online; you settle up at the appointment by Venmo, Zelle, cash, or tap-to-pay.
When I arrive, I bring all my own tools and products. All you need is a bit of space and access to water — your kitchen or bathroom is usually perfect.
